Quill You Forgive Me?

This is a fun little stamp from Inky Antics and a very simple card. The porcupine is stamped with Versafine ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils. The words are stamped on a circle and layered to a corresponding scallop circle. The DP is some old paper from K&Company. It's a cute little card that is quick and gets to the point!

A Groovy Snowman!

This is one of the images from the JustRite "Groovy Snowmen" collection. He is quite a festive lad - all decked out in holiday colors. I colored him with Prismalcolor pencils after stamping the image with Tsukineko VersaFine ink. He's cut out with a circle Spellbinders die and then layered to a red scalloped circle. The bright red ribbon is double-face stain ribbon from Midori. This is just luscious ribbon! There's several layers of designer paper all placed on a dark green base card. Makes for a very happy, cheerful card!

Cherry Blossoms

The Cherry Blossoms set is another great selection of stamps from Flourishes. This card is made from one of the smaller images in the set - stamped multiple times along the left edge of the cardstock. I colored these with Prismacolor pencils. The pink bow is ribbon from May Arts and I overtied a second bow with a metallic twine also from May Arts. I LOVE the metallic twine. It comes in gold, silver and a white iridescent. The right edge of the natural cardstock is punched with an EK Success border punch and layered to a light green Bazzill cardstock, then to a mauve basecard with a metallic paper from Penny Black.

Yellow Roses...

These roses are from one of the calendar florals sets from Flourishes. Mixed with teal paper and cardstock, it makes a nice all-purpose card. The words are by Impression Obsession and the flowers are colored with Prismacolor pencils. There are 2 layers of Spellbinders dies - one in black and the other in natural white. I applied Wild Honey Distress ink by Ranger around the edge of the scalloped oval. Wild Honey is quickly becoming one of my favorite colors! The teal ribbon is a double-face satin by Midori.

3 Circles of Violets

I wanted to try something different with the beautiful violets stamp from Flourishes. So, I stamped and colored it 3 times (used Prismacolor pencils for this card), the cut parts of the image out at different views with a Spellbinders circle die. Add a couple coordinating color layers and put them on a card that will fit in a standard business envelope. The border punch is a Brenda Walton design from EK Success. The butterflies are a Martha Stewart Crafts punch that have a few adhesive beads added to them.
