Memory Box Dies - All in White

Takes a very rainy day to get me back to blogging - sorry for the lapse.  Trying to get better, but stuff keeps getting in the way.

Today I have a card I decided to try all in white.  We just got in a shipment of dies from Memory Box - these are truly some of the most unique and inspiring dies on the market.  I started with a circle die - one with a lot of detail and cut that out in white.  Then I took one of the butterfly dies and cut the upper portion out of plain white cardstock, and the solid piece underneath out of a fancy white paper from ANW Crestwood.

The card is compromised of 3 layers of white felt cardstock.  The folded card base is plain.  The next layer has scored lines made with the Scor-Pal.  The next flat layer is embossed with a Sizzix "triple dot" embossing folder - I really like this one.  Layers 2 and 3 are attached together with foam tape to give a little dimension.  Then the bow gets wrapped around that.

The dies get layered on once the card is put together.  Circle first, then solid butterfly and the lacy upper butterfly.  I glittered the butterfly body with dry glitter first, then attached to the middle.  I use Ranger's Glossy Accents to attach the pieces.  It is my adhesive of choice for stuff like this.

Have a great weekend!
