This is one of the new cute images from Penny Black for Halloween 2010. I just love the critters that this artist creates! The cats, hedgehogs and mice are the cutest in the business. To make this card, I cut 1-inch squares of purple and orange Bazzill cardstock. On the purple squares, I stamped a funky Penny Black image with Dusty Concord Distress ink from Ranger. These got layered in a checkerboard pattern on a piece of white cardstock. That piece was then attached to a green card. The cat was colored with Staedtler watercolor pencils and a Dove blender pen and cut out. The little bat and words are from a clear Penny Black Halloween set. The cat and bat are attached with foam tape. If you don't mind cutting out - it's a snap!
